The work is continuing rapidly on the Vilano Beach Town Center streetscape.  As a resident of this community it is very exciting to see the daily progress! Everything is really coming together nicely and it looks amazing! 

Here is a list of what has occurred during November and December:

1) The landscaping portion of the project is being completed, with a large number of sabal palm trees on both sides of Vilano Road, ground cover, shrubs, etc.   The irrigation system for the landscaping was connected to the water supply.

2) Pavers for the sidewalks continue to be installed. 

3) The Dolphin sculpture was installed over the Vilano Beach Fishing Pier.  The sculpture spans 27 feet over the pier and arches 20 feet into the air.  Each of the dolphins is about ten and a half feet and weighs about 350 pounds.  Wow, this sculpture is fantastic!

4) New lighting has been installed in many areas and new concrete curb is still being added, mostly in the area on the East side of Vilano Road close to the beach.

5) The bell tower at the pier was completed and mosaic tiles were installed to it and to the seating walls at the pier pavillion. 

6) A separate landscaping project at the base of the Vilano Bridge was recently completed as well.  There are tons of new palm trees and ground cover in that area as well. 

There are many other things happening in addition to the above items.  We are seeing spectacular changes occur in our area.  If you have not had a chance to go check out the improvements in the Vilano Beach Town Center area, my advice is to take a few minutes of your time to see it...you will be excited and amazed at how things are progressing. 

I am positive that the current and planned future improvements will have tremendous impact on the value and desirability of the Vilano and South Ponte Vedra Beach areas.  The real estate market in this area has a very bright future!
